Multilayer extrusion equipments, which fabricate Guardian greenhouse films, allow different combinations of additives and special resins that give certain properties to the greenhouse such as: avoid burns from UV rays, control the path length or its diffusion, modify indoor temperature, repel insects, reduce water condensation on the surface of the plastic, and even limit the algae development on such surface and the proliferation of harmful viruses that can affect the crops.

Guardian Greenhouse – Diffused Light

A film used to evenly homogenize and distribute light, thus reducing shadow effects of the greenhouse structure that may limit the progress of a part of the plantation.

Guardian Greenhouse – Anti-blackening

A film that contains an additive which blocks most of the UV radiation responsible for sunburns, especially on red rose petals.

This UV light blocking effect is permanent during the entire life span of the film.

Guardian Greenhouse - Anti-drip

A polyethylene film with special additives which avoid droplet formation, produced by water condensation on the ceiling and the walls of the greenhouse, which could fall and cause damage to the crops.

Guardian Greenhouse – Anti-algae

A polyethylene film with special additives which inhibits the development of algae and microorganisms on the wall surfaces and the ceiling of the greenhouse, due to accumulation of dust and moisture.

Guardian Greenhouse – IR

A film used to avoid heat loss during night time and therefore stabilizing the temperature cycles, improving the development of the plant, especially during cold seasons or in regions with high risk of frost.

Guardian Greenhouse – Anti-static

A film specially treated to avoid dust adhesion on the walls and the ceiling of the greenhouse, improving the quality of light and reducing the cleaning task of the greenhouse.

Guardian Greenhouse – Anti virus

A film with a special treatment which blockades a part of the UV spectrum, repelling some species of insects that act as vectors of viral diseases.

Guardian  Greenhouse – IR Cooler

A specially treated film that reduces the indoor temperature of a greenhouse that has been installed in a climate region of temperatures above 86° Fahrenheit (303.15° Kelvin, 30° Celsius).
