These specialized THERMOshrink films are used for packaging and protecting a wide variety of goods, with or without cardboard or food trays. They are used for such products as beverages, water, juice, canned goods, milk, mayonnaise, mustard, jellies, jams, instant soups and more. Precision crafted to resist tearing, sliding and punctures, they also offer superior transparency. These transversal- and longitudinal-specific shrinks help preserve and firmly protect your valuable products and deliver them to your customers in the best possible condition. Fabrication technology allows for thinner films with better resistance and greater economic efficiencies. This additional cost advantage makes THERMOShrink the ideal substitute for cardboard in packaging trays. The equipment for applying THERMOShrink (called "sleeve wrappers," with one or two rolls and hot air tunnels) add to the cost savings because of their high productivity capabilities. This specialized film also may be applied with sealing "L" machines specially designed for this use. Advantages of Thermo-Shrink for Trays
- Good optic attributes. Products and brands can be clearly seen.
- Good mechanical attributes. Resistance to tearing and impact.
- Water impermeability.
- Good sealing at high speeds.
- Flexibility allows these films to adjust to irregular-sized objects.
Four varieties to meet your needs: THERMOShrink 250 Designed for products that demand excellent visibility and good shrinking. For its high content of last generation resins, the product is sealed at low temperatures and offers high resistance to heat. It is not designed to be self-supporting; do not carry by pulling the plastic. THERMOShrink 500 Designed for products that need high resistance, stiffness or hardness. Recommended for packing rustic or heavy solid materials, where self-support is needed. Some applications include packaging bricks, paint cans, flooring materials and tile, among others. THERMOShrink 700 This is a film with a low melting point and high hot sealing. It is ideal for soft drinks and small cans. Possesses very good resistance for self-support. Its four types of prime resins combine their best attributes to offer an optimum film for fast filling and automated processes. THERMOShrink 900 This is our "all terrain" film. It was designed to be used in products packed in plastic bottles, such as edible oils, soaps and others. However, because of its unique combination of resins it can be adapted to a large variety of products.
