Propping with Polypropylene TwinePolypropylene twine is the most common system for superb, low-cost performance. Its purpose is to anchor plants and prevent bending due to an excessive weight. Twines are produced in thicknesses, or deniers, that deliver resistance and performance that meet your needs. Black twine of 160 pounds is the most advisable for its durability, cost and easy handling.
Available in natural, black and orange, or tailored to your needs.
Twine comes in rolls of 10 pounds (4.54 kg) each, commonly packed with thermo-shrink that allows the rolls to maintain their form. Also, depending on your needs, it can be packed in bags of two rolls, each with thermo-shrink, to offer easier handling of bulks and platforms. We also can manufacture rolls in weights other than the 10-pound standard rolls. Color TwineManufactured with deniers of resistance under 110 pounds, Color Twine is used to tie bags to the banana hand and at the same time identify the age of the hand. The same characteristics of 10-pound rolls are applied to twines used for tying bananas. Spool of TwineThis is the same tying twine as above, with its own characteristics of resistance and deniers; in addition, it is pre-cut to the desired length in bundles of 50 threads (the quantity of threads per spool may vary), prepared to your specifications in order to ease the work in the field. They are packed in bulk bags containing five spools each. Different Uses
- To prop banana plants
- To tie boxes, bulks and packages
- To close burlaps and sacks
