Drip-Watering is an Israeli system designed for small crop areas, for a minimum of five years. It functions at low pressure (0.25 to 4 atms. of pressure), with volumes ranging from 200cc per dropper per hour up to 300cc/dropper/hour. The system works as a closed circuit, which means the whole plot is circulated with a polyduct of ½ " diameter. Technical Characteristics A more uniformly soaked bulb First it soaks horizontally, and then by weight of drop it soaks vertically, favoring a lack of salt leaching, since there is not an extended and accelerated wring in the radicle zone. Performance in the field The performance in the field is more uniform, since this system seldom interrupts the soil-air-plant relationship, which is so vital for the best cultivation of plants. Dripping Volume The system works at a rate of 200 cc to 300 cc/dropper/hour, which is the most efficient way for the plant to absorb water and nutrients; such plant absorption is accomplished slowly and gradually. Auto compensation The system works in the same way in plains as on slopes or downhill, with the use of automatic pressure compensators. Dripping Kit The complete kit covers 1,000 square meters and includes the following: - Sleeveless ring filter
- Bypass valve
- Polyduct hoses of ½ " and ¾"
- T's, elbows, pressure-regulating valves
- Dripping hose of 1,000 lineal pts
Advantages of the Micro-Dripping System - The dripper can be cleaned
- The system can be disassembled with no harm
- Pumping system is not necessary
- Fertilizer injection system is not necessary (hydro-soluble fertilizers can be applied directly to the barrel or dripping box)
