Duraplast Greenhouses

All of our Duraplast Greenhouse materials come in three-layers that allow additives to be incorporated into the various layers to meet your needs, such as temperature conservation, algae prevention, light transfer control, or colors that minimize the development of chlorophyll.

Normally manufactured in a thickness of 7 mils, with ranges up to 8 m wide and lengths according to your needs.

Thicknesses may vary according to the predominant weather conditions in the area of use. Additives and stabilizers can create characteristics tailored to the needs of various crops and can ensure lifespans of 18 to 24 months, or longer.

Varieties of Duraplast

Duraplast UV

Traditional transparent film with an 85% total transmittance and no special additive. Manufactured with Hals base stabilizers.

Duraplast CPN

Film with a yellow pigment, manufactured with nickel base stabilizers. The type of Duraplast that will be used in the greenhouses depends on the climate and type of crop. The standard three-layer films in the agroplastic industry allow an efficient incorporation of additives in the different layers. In addition, the three-layer structures are by nature more mechanically resistant than one-layer films, guaranteeing durability and resistance. The varieties of Duraplast according to its additives are:

Duraplast Diffuse Light

A film that unifies and distributes light uniformly, reducing the shadow effect that influences certain crops.

Duraplast Anti-Blackening

In addition to the UV protection, this film contains a special additive that blocks most UV radiation to prevent burning of petals and leaves.

It is also considered an antivirus for the blocking effect of UV light, without which certain insects cannot see. Such insects are virus vectors that produce damage in plantations. This blocking effect of UV energy is permanent, during the whole lifespan of the film.

Duraplast Anti-dripping

This includes special additives that modify the external tension of the greenhouse film in order to avoid formation of drops that could fall and damage crops.

This is not a permanent characteristic of the film and its duration will depend on the load of the condensation and the climate conditions inside the greenhouse.

Duraplast Anti-algae

This film includes a special additive that inhibits the development of microorganisms on the surface of the film due to settling of excess humidity and dust. The feature ensures a better quality of light throughout the greenhouse.

The effect endures relative to the bacterial load and climatic conditions.

Duraplast IR

With special additives to avoid losing heat during the night and establish a more stable range of temperature cycles. This helps obtain the best development of plants, especially in cold places.

Duraplast Anti-static

A film with a special treatment that prevents permanent adherence of dust, improving the quality of light and reducing the need to clean in periods of too much dust.
