Plastic packaging bags are used to protect the cuticles of banana fingers from cardboard packaging, which can cause bruises and make an unattractive presentation in the market. In addition, plastic packaging prevents excessive loss of moisture in the fruit during transportation, storage and refrigeration. Different materials may be used, depending on the harvesting and consumption period. Our options – Tubopacks, Banavacks, Polytubes, Telapack and Polypacks among others – are manufactured in low- and high-density polyethylene; produced in widths that vary between 30" to 50", and thicknesses of 0.4 thousandth of an inch and up; with holes of 1/2", 1/4" and at different perforation patterns. Other options include those with bottom seals, open tubes, with gussets, and with improved quality of resins for bags that require special mechanical properties such as dart and transparency. Products are packaged according to your needs, typically in bulks of 500 units.
